A JCT design and build single storey timber frame construction project which consisted of a detached extension of Warmley Park School located in what was previously the playing fields.
The site offers nursery support for children with physical and mental learning difficulties.
We took on the project as a main contractor and managed the project in house.
The project included a contractor design, a formation of a car park, a nursery building, and playground as well as a full M+E package to suit.
The entire project was completed over a period of 40 weeks after overcoming issues with contaminated soils in the process. Form of Contract was JCT D & B 2016, & the project was completed during the Covid lockdown period and therefore was, by mutual consent, over-programme to allow safe working practices.
We continue to assist the school with smaller self-funded refurbishment projects after building and maintaining the relationship with the end user.
