Refurbishment and conversion of former Grade II HMO student let to provide a 5 bedroom apartment in the heart of Clifton village.
We were instructed by our client to undertake the design brief and subsequent alterations/refurbishment of part of a Grade II listed property in Clifton, Bristol. The property was in a significant state of disrepair, and was at the time of tender, a 3-bed apartment situated in a 4-storey Georgian HMO.
Our remit was to design a solution to increase bed space whilst providing a modern, bright interior to suit and be attractive to students in the 31st Century.
The project was undertaken in a “live” setting, i.e. other apartments in the building were being used by residents, and the project duration was 6 weeks.
The project was completed on budget and to programme, with no incidents/accidents.
