A JCT design and build development of Weston colleges’ Law and Professional Services Academy in the heart of Weston town.
A full turnkey project – a full strip-out and internal demolition, converting a former hotel into an educational establishment and on-site student accommodation including 16 student flats, 8 offices, 4 large classrooms and 2 conference centre’s on a site with very limited space.
The project was completed over a period of 58 weeks. A full management, building and M&E package was undertaken. Form of Contract was JCT D & B 2016.
No surveys of the building were able to be carried out until contract award which meant we had to work promptly and efficiently in order maintain the program.
Honeyfield have carried out numerous refurbishments and new builds for Weston college having built and maintained good working relationships for over a decade. Zero accidents/incidents were recorded for this project.
